Frequently Asked Questions

A good rule of thumb is to allow 24 inches of space for each person seated at your table. Also, leave at least 36 inches between the edge of the table and the wall or any other furniture to give people room to pull out their chairs and comfortably walk behind.

Dining chairs have a seat height of 18 inches and are used with standard 30-inch tables. Counter height chairs have a seat height of 24 inches and pair with 36-inch tables. Bar height chairs have a seat height of 30 inches and are designed for 42-inch tables.

Extendable tables use leaves to add length. A traditional leaf is a separate piece of wood you physically place into the table. A "butterfly leaf" is built into the table and folds out when needed, meaning you don't have to store it separately.
