Operation Backpack, with the help of Volunteers of America and dedicated volunteers, has made a significant difference in the lives of children. Last year, over 5,000 children entered the classroom equipped with new backpacks and school supplies, empowering them to focus on their studies and succeed academically.

This initiative also supports teachers who often spend an average of $820 out of pocket on classroom supplies. Over the past 15 years, more than 1,000,000 pencils have been distributed through Operation Backpack, positively impacting children's learning journeys.
