Furniture Fair is thrilled to announce that our family-owned furniture retailer is expanding its presence in the Midwest with the opening of its second Indiana store this March, 2024. This exciting new location will mark Furniture Fair's entry into the greater Indianapolis area, adding to the 12 showrooms they already have across Ohio, Kentucky, and southern Indiana.
The new showroom, situated in the charming Indianapolis suburb of Greenwood, will be housed in a former Weekends Only location, making it Furniture Fair's second showroom in Indiana and the first in the greater Indianapolis area. Earlier this year, Furniture Fair opened its doors in Clarksville, Ind., just north of Louisville, Ky., receiving a warm reception from the local community.
Craig Daniels, the marketing manager of Furniture Fair, expressed the company's enthusiasm for growth and expansion. "We are always on the lookout for great opportunities in nearby markets," he said. "Greenwood presented itself as a perfect fit for our vision, and we couldn't pass up the chance to bring our offerings to this thriving region. We're truly excited about this new venture."
Spanning an impressive 65,000 square feet, the Greenwood showroom will feature a comprehensive assortment of home furnishings, ensuring there's something to suit every taste and style. Additionally, customers can look forward to a state-of-the-art design center, allowing them to explore custom options and create their dream living spaces.
One of the highlights of the new showroom is the introduction of Furniture Fair's exclusive Bedmatch Rest Test. This groundbreaking diagnostic testing machine is designed to help customers find the perfect mattress for a restful night's sleep. With this innovative technology, Furniture Fair is committed to ensuring customers experience the utmost comfort and satisfaction with their mattress choices.
Greenwood has been carefully chosen for its appealing blend of suburban charm and easy access to urban amenities. The area boasts a diverse population and a robust local economy, making it an ideal location for Furniture Fair's latest store. Daniels explained the reasoning behind selecting Indianapolis for expansion, stating, "The city felt like the next logical step for us. Its customer base is similar to Cincinnati, which has been an excellent market for us since 1963. We noticed the southern part of Indianapolis is a growing area, and we are eager to grow alongside it."
With the success and positive response to the 90,000-square-foot showroom in Clarksville, Furniture Fair is confident that Greenwood will be met with the same enthusiasm from the community.
