Lighting the Night with Furniture Fair: A Heartfelt Tribute to Those Touched by Blood Cancer

We're gearing up for the annual Light the Night walk, where thousands of participants who've been fundraising for months will gather to celebrate and commemorate the lives of those touched by cancer. In today's world, it's not difficult to find someone we know or love who is suffering through this challenging disease.

Flourishing Partnership for a Noble Cause

Over the past sixteen years, our partnership with LLS has flourished, and we've continually sought new ways to support them in their mission to end blood cancers. This event is filled with various activities to entertain attendees until the main program begins in the evening.

Honoring and Reflecting

There is a remembrance area where those who've lost someone can reflect, bring a picture, light a candle, or write a message.

The Circle of Survivors

During our program, we'll invite all survivors into our Circle of Survivors, where they will light their white lanterns and raise them high, symbolizing a beam of hope. Surrounding them, participants with golden and red lanterns will raise theirs in support, honoring all those touched by cancer.

A Walk to Remember

After the program, everyone will walk with their lanterns lit across the bridges in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, concluding with a fireworks finale sponsored by Furniture Fair. It’s a powerful moment of unity and hope.

Distinguishing Our Cause

LLS does an exceptional job distinguishing who we celebrate tonight. White lanterns signify survivors, yellow for remembrance, and red for supporters who are here to back LLS and the fight against blood cancers.

A Testament to Commitment

Receiving emails or notes from grateful recipients of our resources is the best thank you we could receive. We are humbled and proud to partner with LLS, and in our efforts, have raised over $1.6 million to date. Thanks to these funds, a child diagnosed with ALL today has over a 90% chance of survival.

Lighting Up the Night

Seeing so many people come together on a rainy night to support cancer research and, most importantly, the patients, is truly inspiring. This event offers solace to those grieving and celebrates the survivors, highlighting the power of community and support.

A Brighter Future

This contribution is a testament to our unwavering commitment to a future where the darkness of blood cancers is replaced by the light of hope and healing. Thank you for being part of this vital journey with us. Here’s to a brighter, cancer-free tomorrow.
