Furniture Fair is excited to announce its partnership with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) in a collective effort to aid children fighting blood cancer. Through LLS's remarkable initiative, The Dare to Dream Project, groundbreaking advancements in pediatric blood cancer treatment and compassionate support for affected families are at the forefront.
Furniture Fair is devoted to raising funds that will directly contribute to The Dare to Dream Project, enabling LLS to fulfill its mission of ensuring children receive the life-saving treatments they need to thrive.
In honor of LLS's annual Month of Giving, Furniture Fair pledges to donate a portion of the proceeds up to $10,000 from every mattress sale in June to The Dare to Dream Project. Each generous donation and sale will support cutting-edge research, ultimately improving the lives of children and families impacted by blood cancer.
As long-time supporters of LLS, Furniture Fair holds a deeply personal connection to this cause. Our involvement dates back to former spokesperson Ed Hartman's granddaughter, which drives our unwavering commitment to supporting this latest endeavor that directly benefits the youngest cancer patients in our community.
The Dare to Dream Project, spearheaded by LLS, addresses the pressing need for safer and less toxic treatments, as well as access to free support and resources for pediatric blood cancer patients and their families. Children deserve treatments tailored to their unique needs, yet only a mere 5% of cancer drugs are approved for initial use in pediatric cases, resulting in 80% of childhood cancer survivors developing chronic health issues from treatment.
