Monique’s Design Philosophy

Believing that a home should reflect the unique personality of its occupants, Monique focuses on blending styles to create spaces that are both functional and personal. Drawing inspiration from Emily Henderson, she emphasizes a cohesive flow throughout the home, while also incorporating unexpected elements, such as eclectic furniture or bold artwork, to add a sense of surprise. Monique's approach ensures that each room feels livable, comfortable, and tailored to her clients' needs, balancing practicality with creative flair to make every space truly one-of-a-kind.

Inspired by Emily Henderson

Emily Henderson stands out as Monique’s favorite designer for several reasons:

  1. Mixing Styles:Monique admires Henderson’s ability to seamlessly blend different styles, creating spaces that are both visually interesting and cohesive. This versatility allows for designs that feel unique and personalized to each client.
  2. Functionality and Livability: Henderson’s focus on making every room functional and livable resonates with Monique. She values how Henderson designs spaces that are not just aesthetically pleasing but also practical for everyday life.
  3. Incorporating Unique Touches: Monique is inspired by Henderson’s use of area rugs, touches of leather, and interesting, often unexpected, pieces that add warmth and personality to a room. This approach aligns with Monique’s desire to make every space cozy and reflective of the client’s personality.
