Lighting the Night for a Brighter Tomorrow: Furniture Fair Stands with Blood Cancer United in the Fight Against Blood Cancer

This year, our Furniture Fair family came together once again to Light the Night in Cincinnati, Dayton, Louisville, and Indianapolis, standing side by side with survivors, supporters, and families united in the fight against blood cancer. Together, we helped raise an incredible $127,854 in support of Blood Cancer United, fueling research, patient support, and hope for a brighter tomorrow.

A Partnership Built on Purpose

For eighteen years, Furniture Fair has proudly partnered with the organization now known as Blood Cancer United (formerly the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society). Through this long-standing partnership, we’ve raised over $2.1 million to support lifesaving research and resources for patients and families. Each year, our commitment to this cause grows stronger, and every dollar raised brings us closer to a world without blood cancer.

Honoring, Remembering, and Celebrating

Light the Night is more than a walk, it’s a heartfelt evening of reflection, hope, and unity. Participants carry illuminated lanterns that symbolize their connection to the cause: white for survivors, yellow in remembrance of loved ones lost, and red for supporters who stand beside them. The evening’s most powerful moment comes when all lanterns are lifted together, lighting up the night sky with courage and compassion.

Community in Action

From local fundraisers and team events to the dedicated volunteers who made each city’s walk possible, our employees continue to show that community is at the heart of everything we do. Seeing so many associates, friends, and families come together across four cities reminds us that small acts of kindness can lead to extraordinary impact.
