Country Living's Vintage Market Home Collection

Hi, my name is Chris Peltcher, President of Legacy Classic Furniture. We have the pleasure of building the new country living home collection that Furniture Affair will have on their Floors now or shortly. Very excited about this launch and we're very excited to have Furniture Affair representing us in this line. Hi. Legacy has a good, better, best strategy. Country living will be in the best as far as a quality standard. We put Country Living in the best category because we order to express what this brand is, we needed to be free. We had the freedom to really, you know, nail What more detailed finishing, more distressing. Soft distressing, should say, that's finished distressing or physical distressing to really give it, give the product that old world feel that they're found items and not fresh off the factory line. Legacy has a very high quality standard to begin with and that goes through into the country living program. All of our drawers are dovetail joinery. All of our drawers have ball bearing side glide so it's easy to open, full extension so you get the most benefit from the drawer. Finishes are, like I said, very detailed and layered. A lot of depth and quality finishes. All the product meets all of the current tip over standards. It's really well built product. On all of our nightstands, we feature power outlets on the back. Old meets new I like to say. We have product that looks like it's a hundred years old but there's technology in those products to make it live in this day and age. Power outlets, USB, USB C outlets on the back. We also have lighting. In some of our units as well that normally wouldn't have had lighting back in the day. But again, we're trying bridge that gap. Like I said, have these beautiful, almost antique looking products, but there's technology in them or there are features in them that really lends itself to today. So the inspiration behind this line, when we were coming up with concepts, and we look at the Country Living brand as a series of stories. Someone was going through a flea market or an antiques fair or they were away overseas in France and they found a piece that And it's really about found pieces and that's why we call it Vintage Market because although there are matched sets inside of Vintage market country living, you can be as eclectic as you want. So if you want that look of, you know, I got this piece from an antique shop, I got that piece from the Brimfield antique market up in Massachusetts or, you know you could do that, could do it either way, but the inspiration really was about found pieces. Ultimately, it's about, You know, kind of coming back into home, Warm, cozy, comfortable furniture that you can really make your own and that has soul. The styling is very versatile. Has an eclectic undertone in it. It has a variety of finishes. There's a lot of accent pieces and a lot of obviously sets built in. There's bed dresser mirror nightstand sets, there's table and four chairs sets and things like that and you can do that all matching Customer also has the ability to make it their own. So the table I'm sitting at right here Big beautiful farmhouse table, but you'll notice it's got multiple colored chairs around it. And customers are buying it just this way. What I'd like to say is we're so appreciative of partnership we have with Furniture Fair and Legacy and Furniture Fair have been doing business for a really long time. You know, we're really honored to be on the furniture Fair floor is an honor that the Furniture Fair team, whether that's the buying team or the sales team, believes in the line and you know, I believe that, You know, Country Living Program is going to be a huge success for Furniture Fair and it really adds a level of diversification. We couldn't be happier than to have Furniture Fair.

So with these beautiful Curio cabinets, we thought it was really important that the hardware be functional. Sometimes when you see hardware like this at certain price points, it's just static. It really doesn't work. It's really ultimately just a pull. So we thought it was really important that the hardware functioned up and down. You could see its functionality. And it really adds a level of quality and one of the things that adds value to the product and differentiates it from other things. So one of the great things about the Country Living Vintage Market collection are the finishes. We have a variety of finishes. What you're seeing here is the spiced apple finish, really beautiful finish. Barnwood top here. We look over here. This is what we're calling kettle black, so a nice distressed black. Here we have what we're calling Northern Moss, a very soft Green, very popular right now. And it's been popular for a while. Picket fence. So a nice, matte white distressed finish. Here as well. So there's a lot of variety in finishes. One of the other things that's really cool on all of the case pieces with Country Living We've added in all of the top drawers Country Living Signature. Pattern, is this blue and white stripe buffalo stripe. But these are also removable if the customer doesn't wanna use them, but they're here. I think it makes a really great presentation on the selling floor. It really ties the whole collection together But, again, the variety is really, really special here. So one of the other features on all of the Country Living drawer boxes will be the English dovetail joinery on the front, the full extension side glide, which allows you to use as much drawer as possible or Typically, some other product the drawer only opens that much or this much. This drawer you get to You pull out as far as possible in order to stack clothing instead of stuffing clothing. Yeah, so these shelves in here are served two purposes. So every shelf, every one of the removable shelves, You can flip upside down and have a flat surface, or you can flip the other way and have wine storage. So it's a dual purpose shelf, you also have wine glass storage up in the top here, stemware. A touch light, again, kind of new meets old. So all of our cases that have lighting have a touch light, and all you have to do is touch the top hinge in this case, tap, and it's a three way light, so kind of soft, medium, and then full. And all of the lighting is perfectly matched here, so it's a warm light. It's not a, you know, very contemporary blue light like LEDs sometimes are. So we really aware of the lighting temperatures we used in these cases. So typically when you see farmhouse, know, It's classic, you know, turned legs, things like that, and usually they're very small in scale. One of the features of country living is that we actually went and did an oversized leg. This is a six inch solid leg and it really sets the country living dining program apart from some other things that may have been on the market or are on the market. It's a real statement piece and the leg this leg is available on our counter height here and then also on our dining as well. Another cute feature on this, occasional table here, in the picket fence is that these trays are removable and usable. They could be used as serving trays, or whatever, and you can, you know, artfully place them, Not use them if if if that's what the customer desires, but they fit nicely together in here. Really make it's a really cute piece, a really fun piece. So I just wanted to bring you over here. This this really shows kind of the scale and presence of of the country living vintage market furniture. Again, really big posts, really, you know, what I like to call furniture by the pound and retail customers tend to like things that are larger. They find more value in them oftentimes, so we're very thoughtful about that as we designed these products, and you'll see that kind of scaling throughout the Country Living collection. This is a classic secretary desk, kind of an apothecary design with all the functioning drawers here. What's cool about this piece is can be a desk as it was intended, or folks can use this as a bar as well. Certainly able to do that here. The other thing I would also say is, again, we talk about this old meets new. So again, you see our three prong outlets. You have two of those here. You have your USB and USB C as well. So again, old meets new, plus Lighting as well. A nice piece, multifunction piece. Just a a gorgeous piece and again available in a in a handful of colors. So this is another great example of versatility. So this piece is can be multiple things. So, it's a great piece to be behind a dining room table as a credenza. This can double as a media console, TV above or on as well. It's also a great hallway entry piece, somewhere you throw your keys down. So again, we've thought about these things as we design design the the collection. Like, can these pieces serve, you know, double, triple duty in the home, whereas there are, you know, classic styles and silhouettes, but how can they kinda work themselves into how we live today?
